Our Mission

Enhance the performance of trainees by developing world class coaching content taught through simple, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use work tools and techniques, based on globally acceptable content and coaching delivery methods, all of which is backed by research.

Brief History

The Institute of Insurance Sales Training (IIST) was established on 5th April 2005. Initially IIST operated as a franchisee of the National Insurance Academy, (NIA), Pune, from within the premises of NIA. In 2011, this arrangement was discontinued and IIST continued its operations independent of NIA. In 2013, IIST converted into a private limited company and now operates under the name – IIST Consulting and Marketing Pvt. Ltd.

 

In the 20 years since (as on April 2025) it was established, IIST has coached over 15,000 persons in sales and distribution of all channels of distribution in the life insurance sector. Trainees include, directors, marketing heads, zonal and regional managers, senior divisional managers, area managers, branch managers, assistant branch managers, senior business associates, development officers, chief life insurance advisors, unit managers, agency managers, sales managers, TOT/COT/MDRT agents, Corporate Club and Chairman Club members and other agents.
